Early Life and Education Mouni Roy's journey began in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, where she grew up surrounded by an artistic environment. Her family had connections with theatre, and she developed an early interest in performing arts. She also trained in classical Kathak dance, which became an important part of her artistic identity and later contributed to her confidence as a performer. After completing her schooling in Cooch Behar, Mouni moved to Delhi for higher education. She studied English Literature at Miranda House and also enrolled in a mass communication course at Jamia Millia Islamia.
